Nairobi

Mount Kenya

The second highest mountain in Africa, at 5,199 meters, Mount Kenya has far fewer tourists than Africa's tallest, Mount Kilimanjaro. While only experienced climbers can get to the top of the mountain, Point Leanna is only about 200 meters lower and anyone in good health can get there.

 

Climbing the mountain takes four or five days. Guide companies will take you upstairs, and you can even pay someone to carry your backpack for you.
